Car Seat Safety Checks
The Grayslake Police Department provides free car seat safety checks for all Grayslake residents. With this service, a certified officer will check your child’s car seat to ensure that it is safe and has been installed correctly.
To utilize the Car Seat Safety Check service, please contact the Grayslake Police Department at 847-223-2341. Please note that this service is by appointment only.
House Watch
Residents who are leaving town for extended periods of time may call the Police Department at 847-223-2341 to sign-up for the House Watch Program. The Police Department will specifically patrol those residences enrolled in the program periodically during the time the resident is out of town.
Vehicle Lock-Outs
The Police Department’s Community Service Officers will provide free assistance to residents when they have locked themselves out of their vehicles. To utilize this service, please call the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 847-223-2341.
