Additional Mosquito Abatement Spraying

Clarke Environmental, the Village’s contracted mosquito abatement service provider, has been authorized to conduct an additional spraying. The spraying will take place during the evening of Tuesday, September 18 (weather permitting).

While the Village continues its effort to reduce the mosquito population, the most important thing individual residents can do is take preventative measures to reduce the impact of mosquitoes on their property. In any given season mosquito levels can vary...

Household Chemical Waste Collection Event

The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County (SWALCO) is hosting a household chemical waste collection event on Saturday, October 6 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Mundelein Metra Train Station, 205 N. Archer Avenue.

From Prairie to Village - A Call for Artists

The Grayslake Arts Alliance (GAA), in partnership with the Village of Grayslake, seeks an artist or artist team to complete a piece of public art in honor of the Illinois Bicentennial celebrating both Illinois and Grayslake's history.

A purchase prize of $5,000 will be awarded and the winning entry will be unveiled at the Grayslake Village Hall on Friday, November 23, 2018.
