The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County (SWALCO) is hosting a household chemical waste collection event on Saturday, September 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Lake Forest Municipal Services Center, 800 N. Field Drive.

Pet Vaccination Clinic

Together with the Lake County Animal Care and Control Program, the Grayslake Police Department is offering a low-cost pet vaccination and microchip clinic on Saturday, September 7 from 9 AM - 12 PM at the Grayslake Police Department, 10 S. Seymour Avenue.

Cash payment (CASH ONLY) is required at the time of vaccination.  All animals mus be at least 4 months old.  Fees for pets that are spayed/neutered:

Garbage and Recycle Can Placement Reminder

Residents are reminded to place their garbage and recycle cans and yard waste out for pick-up no earlier than 6:00 p.m. on the night before their regular pick-up day.

After refuse is picked up, garbage and recycle cans must be placed either on the side of the house or inside the garage per Village ordinance.
