The Grayslake Historical Society is hosting its annual living history tour of the Grayslake Cemetery on Sunday, October 3, 2021 with performances at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Costumed interpreters will bring to life stories of their Grayslake family, friends and relatives buried in the cemetery. Newspaper publisher and park owner Peter Newhouse will lead attendees to
the burial sites of Charles Washburn, Tryphena Marvin, Christina Jensen, Helen Wheelock, Charles Hall and Charles Longabaugh.
Grayslake Cemetery is located on Lake Street just north of Belvidere Road (Illinois Route 120). Dress appropriately for the weather.
