FB IG Of Mice and Men

Have you ever re-read a book that you were taught in high school and come away with an entirely different view on it? The Grayslake Heritage Center and the Grayslake Area Public Library are back with the 2nd book in the American Lit 101: Revisited program, "Of Mice And Men."

Space is limited, so be sure to register ahead of time through the library. Books will be available for pick up at the library.

Book Club will be meeting at the Heritage Center on April 25th at 7 PM.

Grayslake North High School teacher, Patrick Green, and a panel of students will lead the discussion of "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck,  a novella published in 1937 narrating the experiences of two displaced migrant ranch workers in search of new job opportunities during the Great Depression in the United States.
Books will be available for pick up at the library upon registration.
American Lit 101: Revisited is part of our Subject Series.
The Subject Series is an ongoing series of events that correlate to different subjects in high school. This series corresponds with our current exhibit, “Be True to Your School: 75 Years of Grayslake High Schools.”
