Miss Grayslake, working with Junior Miss Grayslake, Little Miss Grayslake and Tiny Miss Grayslake, are putting together a gingerbread house contest to benefit charity. Contestants are invited to build a house and display it at the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum the last two weeks in December. The houses must be 95% edible and should not exceed one square foot, including the base. Contestants should feel free to embellish their designs with candy and sweets. Contestants are asked to make a donation of non-perishable food items to the PLAN Food Pantry.
Please e-mail email@example.com to register, as space is limited.
All entries are to be delivered to the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum, 164 Hawley Street, on Saturday, December 15 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Those unable to make the drop off date are invited to make alternate arrangements with the event organizers. The public will be invited to view the entries Wednesdays-Saturdays from noon-4 p.m. through December 29. Please direct any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
