The museum is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Grayslake Giving Trees display. With nearly 1,100 visitors and 922 votes cast, the Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry took the People’s Choice Award with 230 votes, followed by Twice as Nice Mother and Child in second place and Prairie Farm Corps in third. The museum also worked with independent artists to judge the 2015 entries. Twice as Nice Mother and Child received this year’s Spirit Award, the Grayslake Farmers Market won Most Creative for the second consecutive year and Prairie Farm Corps was awarded Best Illustration of Mission. Best in Show went to St. Gilbert Catholic School, with the Grayslake Historical Society receiving Honorable Mention. We wish to thank all 15 organizations who participated in this year’s event for their creativity and for all that they do to make Grayslake a wonderful place to live, work and play.
