[ARCHIVED] Enjoy Local Ghost Stories at the Museum

Members of the Grayslake Historical Society will offer local ghost stories on October 29 from 5-10 p.m. as part of the Oasis/Exchange Club's inaugural "Haunted Grayslake" event.  Stories will be offered every half hour at different stations in the museum.

2016 is the inaugural year for this new fundraiser, held in conjunction with the Exchange Club of Grayslake. On October 29, the downtown area of Grayslake will be filled with people in costume provided with Treasure Maps. The maps will lead participants to various businesses who will be providing free gifts/items/coupons to the participants. The Grayslake Heritage Center offers ghost stories every half hour and The Oasis is “haunted” working with students and community volunteers.

The event runs from 5 pm to 10 pm and is family friendly. Treasure Maps will be $10 or family of four for $25. This is a combined fundraiser with Grayslake Oasis and Exchange Club of Grayslake.

Treasure Maps / Passports will be available for purchase at both The Grayslake Oasis as well as Joyce Campbell – State Farm!
