This is a supervisory position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Aquatic Center. The successful candidate will supervise all part-time seasonal staff to ensure operational objectives and customer service standards are met; implement the facility’s comprehensive risk management plan including administering all lifeguard training, in-service, and in-house audits; and assist with other general administrative responsibilities such as data collection, reporting, and human resources.
Minimum of 3 years experience as a certified lifeguard preferred; previous lifeguard instructor and/or supervisor experience desired. Must hold current lifeguard instructor certification or be able to obtain within 45 days of hire. Must be available for the majority of the summer (May – August) and be willing to work unusual hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. The successful applicant must be available to work between 20-40 hours per week. The hourly pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 DOQ. A high school diploma or GED is required. This is a seasonal position.
