[ARCHIVED] Grayslake Heritage Center Foundation to Stage World War II Themed Fundraiser

Step back in time to the 1940s and help support the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum with a World War II era, USO-style event.  The Grayslake Heritage Center Foundation invites you to attend this engaging and exclusive fundraiser on Friday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Brae Loch Country Club, 3600 North US Highway 45 in Grayslake.  The event includes 1940s, USO-inspired cuisine; an appearance by actor R.J. Lindsey as President Franklin Delano Roosevelt; music by the Highland Park Pops Big Band and an auction of fun and interesting items.

Tickets are $50 per person, payable to the Village of Grayslake Heritage Center Fund.  Proceeds help support future museum programs, exhibitions and initiatives.  Attendees are welcome to wear 40s-inspired attire or their favorite modern outfit.  Space is limited and tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.  Please send your check and RSVP by June 2 to Dave Oberg, Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum, 164 Hawley Street, Grayslake, IL  60030.  Donations and in-kind gifts are gladly welcomed and sponsorship opportunities are still available.  For more information, contact Dave Oberg at or 847-543-1745.  We hope to see you on June 9.
