On Friday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m., the Waukegan-North Shore Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America is teaming up with the museum to host actor R.J. Lindsey as Oldsmobile founder R.E. Olds at State Bank of the Lakes in downtown Grayslake. Lindsey will narrate a slide program with stories of the early auto inventors: Benz, Daimler, Olds, Duryea, Winton, Ford. The program also explores early auto races, record setting events and new advertising strategies for motorists such as the Burma Shave road signs.
