Centennial Plaza
Join us for our 2022 Summer Concert Series! Bring a chair or blanket to Centennial Plaza at Center and Whitney Streets, order food from a Grayslake restaurant, and enjoy an evening of free live music. On Thursday, August 11 at 7 PM, we welcome back Mr. Myers Band by popular request! Mr. Myers plays "Caribbean Rock"- a mixture of reggae, soca/calypso, beach music, and their own originals. In the band's 40-year history they have played thousands of shows ranging from clubs to festivals and park districts to corporate and private events.
Try the Grayslake Historical Society’s old-fashioned corn shelling machine, and you can even take a bag of corn home with you.
Visit the Heritage Center to pick up a hands-on history activity for kids. These are available in the lobby when we are open, and in the courtyard when we are closed. Thank you to Orthodontic Specialists of Lake County for sponsoring this free children’s activity.
Look for our bright yellow tent with a fun activity for festival goers!
Join the Lake County Folk Club at Village Hall as they host Sons of the Never Wrong, a turbo-charged Alt-folk trio from Chicago that delivers witty, whimsical songs with their signature soaring vocal harmonies and gorgeous arrangements. Tickets are $18/General Public, $15/Seniors, $13/Folk Club Members.
Tune into Facebook Live for this month’s Exhibit Spotlight!
